Day 6 of this continental competition displayed that despite high expectations and goals, female lifters showed quite shaky results: the scoreboard was almost red because of multiple no-lifts in Snatch and Clean & Jerk exercises.
Although the strongest lifters did their best to get the desired awards and defeat their contenders during the intensive performance.

- 🥈Adashbaeva Rigina (UZB) – 107-136-243

The gold medalist in the Women’s 81-kg weight category became Kim Suhyeon from South Korea who took three golds: Snatch at 110 kg, Clean & Jerk at 144 kg, and 254 kg in total.
The second place moved to the weightlifter from Uzbekistan Adashbaeva Rigina who performed 243 kg in total, 107 kg in Snatch, and 136 kg in Clean & Jerk.
Kim Iseul from South Korea became a bronze medalist with the following results: 105 kg in Snatch, 133 kg in Clean & Jerk, and a total of 238 kg.
To conclude, the battle between the eight most endurant female lifters in this category wasn’t as easy as it could be. The reason is that just one athlete, namely Korean Kim Suhyeon did all three successful lifts, while the rest failed to perform two lifts, with only one good lift.
Top Athletes’ Review
The 81-kg weight class gold medalist Kim Suhyeon lifted 110 kg in Snatch, and 144 kg in Clean & Jerk, resulting in 254 kg in total. She’s a bronze medalist at the 2022 World Championships in Bogota, and at the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, both performing in the 76-kg weight class. She’s also a gold medalist at the 2023 Asian Champs in Jinju also competing in the 76-kg weight division.
The silver medalist Adashbaeva Rigina from Uzbekistan did 243 kg overall, 107 kg in Snatch, and 136 kg in Clean & Jerk. Today he fell behind the category’s leader by 11 kilos in total, three kilos in Snatch, and 8 kilos in Clean & Jerk. Her previous results were 103-127-230 she did at the Asian Champs in South Korea.
The bronze medal moved to Kim Iseul from South Korea. She did 105 kg in Snatch on the first attempt, 133 kg in Clean & Jerk on the second try, and finished with 238 kg overall.

After watching the Snatch performance, we can admit that almost all lifts were unsuccessful and the scoreboard was in red lights. This means that the performance rate of all athletes was below average.

Clean & Jerk results:
The same situation was in the Clean & Jerk round: the majority showed red lifts, moreover, four athletes withdrew from the battle. Thus, the Top 3 was the following:

- 🥈Adashbaeva Rigina (UZB) – 136 kg
- 🥉Kim Iseul (KOR) – 133 kg
