If you love weightlifting, this guy’s seminar is definitely worth your time and money! It was interesting to look at the lifts from his perspective, how he breaks the lifts down and to discuss different views. The best part was putting everything that was mentioned and shown, into practice with him in the room. Cherry on top was that was he funny and made jokes too. All round a great experience!

I attended the L-1 Seminar in Cascais, Portugal in January 2024. I came in with about 10 years of lifting experience and a lot of self-study. Oleksiy and Sergii are as kind and helpful as they are knowledgeable and qualified to teach. They have obviously worked hard to put together a rigorous curriculum, and they expect the same hard work from their students but also give you unlimited support to succeed. They set a standard for other coaches and teachers to follow. I had a great time and learned a lot--thank you Oleksiy, Sergii, and Team Torokhtiy program support staff.

I attended L1 WL Course for Coaches&Athletes in Cascais, Portugal. The Dynamic Duo (Oleksiy&Sergii) is professional at the highest level, from practical elements and theoretical knowledge that they share with You. I recommend this Course or Torokhtiy seminars because you will for certain take your Olympic lifting to another level and Coaches will benefit from practical and theoretical advices to incorporate in their coaching.

The Weightlifting seminar that has taken place in Crossfit Venezia on December 9th and 10th was awesome. Coach Alex was very professional and gave us super clear explanations, tips and suggestions. These have been, and are still being, very helpful in my daily training program.

I recently had the incredible opportunity to attend a weightlifting seminar hosted by my CrossFit box in Zandhoven, featuring the legendary Oleksiy Torokhtiy. To say that it was an outstanding experience would be an understatement.Oleksiy Torokhtiy, a professional weightlifter with an impressive track record including Olympic victories, World Championships, and European Championships, conducted the seminar. The day was filled with invaluable insights and practical training, making it an unforgettable learning experience.We started by delving into the fundamentals of the snatch movement, followed by the clean, and finally the jerk. Torokhtiy's expertise and teaching skills were on full display as he broke down each movement step by step, offering clear guidance and correction where needed.One of the highlights of the seminar was the structured workout session, during which we had the opportunity to work towards achieving our personal records. This workout not only provided a solid foundation but also helped us identify key areas for improvement. The attention to detail, along with the abundance of tips and tricks, truly set this seminar apart.Despite the rigorous training, we were given enough time to rest and recover, ensuring that we remained engaged and energized throughout the day. I initially had concerns about whether I could sustain a full day of weightlifting, but thanks to the well-paced schedule and the wealth of information provided, it was a seamless and enjoyable experience.Torokhtiy himself is not only a remarkable athlete but also an incredibly pleasant and approachable individual. His sense of humor added a personal touch to the seminar, and he took the time to provide individualized feedback and guidance to every participant.In conclusion, I cannot recommend Torokhtiy's weightlifting seminar highly enough. Join my intensive two-day workshop designed for athletes and coaches who want to improve their snatch, clean & jerk technique. We welcome participants from all backgrounds who want to experience the basics of weightlifting and learn how to improve their performance for meets or individual needs.

The schedule for Day 1 is as follows:

  • 08:45 – 09:00 Registration
  • 09:00 – 09:20 Program announcement, self-presentation
  • 09:20 – 10:00 Snatch theory and unique “Bullet Time” video analysis
  • 10:00 – 13:00 Practical training
  • 13:00 – 14:30 Lunch
  • 14:30 – 15:00 Snatch special warm-up complex
  • 15:00 – 17:00 Group workout session (up to PR)
  • 17:00-18:00 Q&A and Snatch day summary.
