South Korean Weightlifting Star and Olympic Competitor

Kim Su-hyeon was born on February 6th, 1995, and she’s a South Korean weightlifter competing in the 76 kg weight class. She won bronze medals at the 2022 World Weightlifting Championships and the 2022 Asian Games. Su-hyeon competed in the 76 kg event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She also won a silver medal in the 76 kg snatch at the 2023 World Weightlifting Championships. Over the years, she’s consistently shown her skills in both Asian and global competitions. 

She first got attention at the 2014 Asian Games, where she finished 4th in the 69 kg category. Her breakthrough came at the 2018 Asian Games, where she competed in the 6 kg event in Jakarta, Indonesia, but she didn’t win a medal. 

Her big achievements include a bronze medal at the 2019 Asian Weightlifting Championships in the 76 kg category. At the 2022 Weightlifting Championships in Bogotá, Colombia, she won a bronze medal in the 76 kg event. Later that year, she also got a bronze medal at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. In 2023, she won a silver medal in the 76 kg snatch at the World WEightlifting Championships in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. 

Kim represented South Korea at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the women’s 76 kg event and showed her skills and strength on the global stage. She’s known for her competitive spirit and consistent performances.
