Brazaite Gintare Won 3 Silver Medals in all Rounds

As always, the competition was full of excitement as well as thrill on the eighth day of the Grand Prix II in Doha, and with every passing day, the stakes are rising. 

Seven amazing women took part in the weightlifting competition for a chance to represent their respective countries at the Olympics and bring pride to their people. 

Among them, the weightlifter Brazaite Gintare of Lithuania demonstrated a smashing performance and secured second position in the women’s 76-kg division at the enthralling Grand Prix II in Doha.

Despite facing strong competitors, Gintare, the Lithuanian coach and weightlifter, remained steadfast and kept on giving amazing performances resulting in her winning three silver medals in all competition rounds.

Her mindblowing achievements include a total lift of 225 kg, comprising 100 kg in the Snatch and 125 kg in the Clean & Jerk. 

Here’s what Gintare had to say after winning her silver medals: “I’m very happy with that it’s time to celebrate. It’s my first six-from-six in an international competition and I’ve been in weightlifting for 11 years.”

The Women’s 76-kg category triumph adds to Gintare’s renowned career, including a 5th-place finish at the 2021 European Championships. Her participation in the 2019 World Champs is also notable, where she got the 13th position.
