Emil Molodosov won Bronze in The Men’s 89 kg Event at the 2024 IWF Asian Championships

Day 6th of the Asian Championships was another one to remember due to the solid competition that we saw during the men’s 89 kg event.
Largely due to the absence of the athletes from team China, we saw the emergence of a lot of new winners, and one of them was Emil Molodosov.
During yesterday’s competition, Molodosov was able to show one of his best performances in recent years by lifting 162 kg on the snatch (which earned him a bronze medal for the lift) and 190 kg on the Clean&Jerk for a total of 352 kg and the bronze medal for the event.

Prior to this competition, Emil had represented Kyrgyzstan in several international competitions, with his best achievements being a silver medal from the 2022 Asian Weightlifting Championships in Manama and a silver medal from last year’s Qatar Cup held in Doha.
