Uzbek Ruslan Nurudinov delivered an unforgettable performance in the Men’s 109kg category, setting a World Record in Clean & Jerk (242 kg) and claiming gold with an incredible 424 kg total.

The snatch session was a closely fought battle, with Sharofiddin Amriddinov from Uzbekistan securing gold after an impressive 184 kg lift. Both Garik Karapetyan from Armenia  and Mehdi Karami lifted 183 kg, but Karapetyan did it first and claimed silver, leaving Karami with bronze.

In the clean & jerk, Wu Yan maintained her lead with a gold-winning lift of 150 kg. Eileen Cikamatana and Kim Yong Ju both lifted 144 kg, but Cikamatana earned silver because made this weight first, leaving Kim with bronze.
