The Men’s 96kg competition provided one of the most dramatic finals of the championships so far, with Kazakh Nurgissa Adiletuly narrowly edging out his competitors to secure gold in the total.

The snatch session showcased an incredibly close contest between Georgian Revaz Davitadze, Alireza Moeini. Davitadze led the pack with a 177 kg lift, while Moeini Sedeh and Qian Feixiang from Group B followed closely with 176 kg and 175 kg, respectively.
