2024 Pan American Weightlifting Championships Results: Summary of the Competition

Seeing as 2024 is an Olympic year, we all knew that it would start with unparalleled intensity, and so far, we weightlifting fans have been able to witness four different continental championships in a row in February.
As the Paris Games drew closer and closer and the stakes were higher, it was time for the best athletes in the Americas to show us what they got during the Pan American Weightlifting Championships that were held in Caracas, Venezuela.
Let’s first start with the most glaring fact – the American team not participating due to security concerns because of the location of the Championships. As we already covered, the US lifters competed at the Europeans in Sofia instead, but they were not allowed to rank or win any medals there; however could win points for Olympic qualifying, which wa, after all, their main priority.
