WWC In Riyadh 2023 Day 2: Women’s 49 kg Results – China sets 2 World Records

Two categories of Group A of Women’s 49 kg and Men’s 55 kg were competing today by encouraging us to enjoy such superb results.
We succeeded in spectating several well-known female lifters who already gained high interest and support from the world audience. This time, athletes from China and the USA made the podium thanks to their amazing performance.

Overall, we have such results: first place came to Jiang Huihua from China who lifted 215 kg in total, and 120 kg – C&J and set two WRs. Silver was taken by another Chinese athlete Hou Zhihui: total – 211 kg, Snatch – 95 kg, C&J – 116 kg. And third place was for Jourdan Delacruz from the USA with the following results: total of 200 kg, Snatch – 88 kg, and 112 kg in C&J.
We spectated an amazing performance of the Chinese team: two female athletes broke world records by bringing three gold medals in total. Jiang Huihua set 2 world records in C&J by performing 120 kg and a total of 215 kg, and Hou Zhihui broke WR in Snatch by lifting 95 kg.
However, this time a promising athlete from Romania Michaela Cambei managed to get bronze in Snatch by lifting 90 kg, compared to her outstanding results at the European Weightlifting Championships in Yerevan with 3 gold medals in Snatch, C&J, and total.
Unfortunately, some of other promising atheltes were not lucky this day. Among them are Michaela Cambei from Romania who took gold in Yerevan by setting two European records due to her powerful Snatch of 92 kg and C&J of 106 kg and Rosegie Ramos from the Philippines who took gold at the Asian Junior Championships in Tashkent.
