Antonino Pizzolato With an Incredible Lift in Training

The Olympic Games in Paris are just around the corner, and the men’s 89 kg category is shaping up to be a fierce battle. Karlos Nasar, Keydomar Vallenilla, Yeison Lopez, and Antonino Pizzolato are all vying for the top spots, each showcasing their strength and skill in their intense training blocks.

After finishing second in the European Championships in Sofia this year, Pizzolato hasn’t shown footage of himself preparing for Paris, and that might have led some people to think that he’s not preparing well.

However, just yesterday, the Italian shared a new IG post of his training, and in this latest clip, we can see him easily push press 160 kg from the blocks.

The three-time European Champion was recently dethroned by the new wunderkind of the weightlifting world, Karlos Nasar, but he’s showing resilience and a willingness to fight for a medal spot in the Olympic Games.

Of course, there are still more than 60 days left until the competition kick-off in France, but those two months are crucial for all athletes, as they will be aiming to enter the French capital injury-free and in peak form. And we will be following them on the way.
