Along with a wide range of high-quality protein powders, bars, and other supplements, Promix also offers whey protein puffs. These are designed to add a bit of high-protein crunch to cereals, smoothie bowls, or yogurt.
But, are they right for you? In this review, we’ll be taking a closer look so you can make a more informed decision!
Promix Whey Protein Puffs Review – With 10g of protein per serving and a high-quality formula, these puffs are an easy way to boost the protein content of cereal, yogurt, or smoothie bowls. However, they may not be as versatile or protein-packed as a simple whey protein powder.

Promix regularly delivers some of the highest-quality supplements on the market, prioritizing all-natural ingredients and high-quality formulas. These whey protein puffs are no exception.
They deliver a solid 10g of protein per serving for only 50 calories, making them almost entirely protein. They’re an easy way to boost the protein content of anything where you might want some extra crunch.
While they may be beneficial for some, they likely won’t serve much of a purpose outside of adding to yogurt, smoothie bowls, and cereal. Keep in mind that these aren’t meant to be a standalone cereal. As a result, something like simple whey protein powder would be a much more versatile option for most people.
They’re an easy way to boost the protein content of anything where you might want some extra crunch.
Promix Protein Puffs Macronutrients Breakdown
So, what can you expect in each serving of Promix? Keep in mind that the recommended serving size is very small, and is meant to be added to other recipes instead of eaten on its own.
As a result, each serving is only 50 calories. This is almost entirely protein, with 10g per serving. The rest of the calories consist of 2g of carbohydrates and .5g of fat. While they don’t contain any fiber, they also don’t contain any unnecessary added sugar.
We recommend aiming to get 0.7-1g of protein per pound of body weight if you’re looking to gain muscle. So, while Promix doesn’t offer a ton of protein per serving, it will still be a nice boost for most people.
Pros and Cons of Promix Protein Puffs
Now, let’s take a look at some of Promix’s pros and cons so you can decide if this supplement is worth your money!
Pros of Promix Protein Puffs
✅ High-Quality, All-Natural Formula
First, this product is made with simple all-natural ingredients, making it a good choice for anybody who wants to avoid artificial sweeteners, sugar alcohols, or any other common filler ingredients.
✅ High-Protein to Calorie Ratio
The fact that these puffs are almost entirely protein makes them a great choice for anybody who wants to get a boost of protein without too many unnecessary calories from carbs and fats. This is ideal for people looking to lose weight or simply control their kcal intake.
Cons of Promix Protein Puffs
❌ May Not Be Very Useful for Some
Keep in mind that these are mainly meant to be added to recipes for a bit of crunch, and aren’t meant to be a standalone food. As a result, they might not have as much utility for some. Aside from adding it to some pancakes or yogurt etc there is not much you can do - and it’s still 10g of protein per serving.
❌ No Fiber
Another downside is that Promix whey isolate protein puffs contain no fiber whatsoever. With fiber being important for disease prevention and overall health for the average American, this would make Promix’s protein puffs a more complete all-around supplement.
Promix Protein Puffs vs. Jacked Factory Protein Cereal
Jacked Factory Protein Cereal
- Serving Size: 1 1/4 Cup (60 g)
- Servings per Container: about 4
- Calories: 190
- Protein per Serving: 21 g
If you’re looking for something you can use as actual cereal instead of a small add-on to other recipes, consider trying Jacked Factory’s Protein Cereal.
Its serving sizes are much larger, and as a result, are higher in both calories and protein. This would make a great alternative to cereal for anybody who struggles to hit their protein goals, or for those who just want a higher protein alternative to standard breakfast cereals.

Conclusion
Overall, if you feel like they’d be beneficial for you, Promix’s protein puffs would make a great high-protein addition to many different meals!
