Charron’s overall total of 236 kg was enough to earn her the silver medal and she was just 5 kilograms behind the winner.

She’s a two-time gold medalist at both the Commonwealth Games and the Pan American Games in the 64 kg division, and she also took home the gold medal in the same category at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics.

The competition in Paris was really strong and the fierce battle for the gold kept spectators on the edge of their seats. The top contenders all put on an impressive show and lifted some serious weights.

Her Paris performance added another medal to her impressive career and proved she’s still one of the top lifters in the world. Her performances were strong in both events and she showed she’s more than capable of competing at the highest level.
