- How long does it take to learn the Olympic Snatch?
In my seminars I’ve seen athletes complete a full snatch after a full day of theory and practical lessons (approx 10 hours). This MasterClass for the Snatch is based on the progression I use in my seminars, but with a much deeperunderstanding of the physical movements and theory. Because of this, it should take approximately 3 weeks to complete the entire program.
- How often should I do practical lessons?
The entire program consists of 20 theoretical and 12 practical lessons which are intertwined. Every practice is based on one or a few theoretical lessons. The practical lessons should never be done before reading the theoreticalones. I recommend approximately 4 practical lessons a week (ex. Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat) This is why the entire program takes about 3 weeks to complete.
- How good will the Snatch Masterclass make me?
As good as you want to be. It will definitely give you a solid foundation of the theories and movements, how and why they are performed the way they are, and will give you an idea where to go next. After this, it’s all up to you.
