Karlos Nasar’s Remarkable Comeback: 365 kg of Triumph at the Milena Dobrev Memorial

We all remember Karlos Nasar‘s last competition. It was about six months ago during the European Championship in Yerevan. There, the athlete suffered a severe Achilles injury, which led him to step away from competitive sports indefinitely.
This nineteen-year-old athlete had been a hope not only for the Bulgarian community but for the entire world. Unfortunately, this injury shattered some of his fans’ expectations.
However, things are changing now because Karlos Nasar is making a comeback with a fresh start and fully recovered from his past injuries. Recently, he won the national tournament, “Milen Dobrev Memorial,” where he received a modest prize of $500 and a trophy for his efforts.

During this competition, Karlos managed to lift 165 kilograms in the snatch and an additional 200 kilograms in the clean and jerk, totaling 365 kilograms and securing first place according to the Sinclair system with 424 points.
In the same event, the second place was taken by athlete Ivan Dimov, who lifted 132 kilograms in the snatch and achieved 155 kilograms in the clean and jerk, earning him 400 points. The third place belonged to Angel Rusev, who lifted 117 kilograms in the snatch and an additional 152 kilograms in the clean and jerk.
We will closely follow Karlos Nasar’s athletic performances. We are confident that this won’t be his only victory in the near future. Previously, he consistently delivered inspiring results, and despite the unfortunate injury, he still has time to regain his former glory.
