SNATCH

The athlete takes the starting position and takes the bar with a snatch grip. Feet is on the width of the pelvis, feet and knees look in one direction – 10-15 degrees in the sides – the lower back is arched, shoulders are over a bar, arms are straight and relaxed. The pull starts from the legs, the bar is as close to the body as possible, in the pull, there is a powerful extension of the legs in the knees (jump up is from the full foot). After complete straightening, the athlete continues to move up with his elbows and quickly goes down under the bar and there fixes it above his head. After stabilization of the position, the athlete gets on even feet. Since this exercise is competitive in weightlifting, it is planned during both preparatory and competitive periods.
