Karlos Nasar Squatting 280 kg With Ease in New Video 

He’s not even 20 years old, and he’s already an incredible weightlifter, having won many titles and gathered tons of accolades in the last few years.

As of right now, Nasar has the following records under his name in the men’s 89 kg division: 

  • Clean & Jerk – 223 kg 
  • Snatch (Junior) – 176 kg
  • Clean & Jerk (Junior) – 223 kg
  • Total (Junior)  – 395 kg

Just a few weeks ago, he set a new Junior World Record for the Snatch at the European Championships, all while winning the gold medal in the competition. 

Of course, for the Bulgarian lifter, the Olympic Games in Paris are the biggest goal for the year, and he has shared a ton of clips from his preparations.

Along with improving his nutrition, Nasar is also working on increasing his strength even further, and in a new video uploaded to his Instagram, Karlos can be seen working with 280 kg on the back squat – an impressive feat, to say the least. 

For Karlos, Paris will be the biggest test in his career so far, but it looks like he has a real chance to win the gold medal in the 89 kg and thus become one of the legendary weightlifters that have won every major title in their careers.
