Power CLEAN + Power CLEAN below knee

This combination is mostly used at the beginning of the preparation period, when the development of the angles from the non-standard initial positions take place. This exercise is performed in straps and requires an optimal levelof flexibility and mobility of the upper limbs. Straps help to interact more rigidly with the barbell, and it helps the athletes to practice the speed of the elbows rotation. Taking the starting position (downward movement)when performing the CLEAN from the hang position should be done slowly - it will help to obtain the necessary angles in the PULL. To create power in the power position and give the optimum flight height, athlete should striveto perform the power phase from the full foot and in the phase of the final acceleration - control the full leg and back extension.
