In this Kaged Outlive 100 review, we’ll be looking at these superfood greens so you can decide if it’s a worthwhile investment for you!

Overall, Kaged’s supplement is a high-quality greens blend that includes some helpful active ingredients like Ashwagandha. However, keep in mind that if you’re eating a well-balanced diet full of fruits and veggies, you likely don’t need a supplement like this. With that being said, let’s get into our review!

Kaged is a popular supplement company that’s been around since 2015. In that time, they’ve become well-known for their high-quality pre-workouts, and protein powders. However, they offer a long line of other supplements, including their greens supplement, Outlive 100

If you’re in the market for a superfood/greens supplement, Outlive 100 probably has everything you’re looking for. It contains multiple blends meant to serve different purposes, containing over 20 organic fruits and veggies.

While Kaged is a solid greens supplement – especially considering this price – it’s worth noting that you probably don’t need a greens supplement if you eat a complete diet already rich in fruits and veggies. However, a supplement like Outlive can be a good way to boost your daily intake of greens.

Positives:

Who and What is Kaged Outlive 100 For

Kaged Outlive, like most greens supplements, is meant for anybody who wants to get a boost of fruits and veggies in their diet through an easy-to-take supplement. It’s worth noting that most people who eat a balanced diet rich in fruits and veggies likely won’t benefit much from a supplement like this.

Also, the main active ingredient included in Outlive is 300mg of Ashwagandha. This is an herbal supplement shown to reduce cortisol and in turn, moderately boost testosterone. While Ashwagandha may be best taken on its own, this could be a convenient way to try the supplement if you’re interested in it.

Kaged Outlive 100 Review

Below we’ll be going in-depth on Kaged’s Outlive 100, including its ingredients and flavor,  so you can see if it’s a worthwhile investment for you.

1. Ingredient Breakdown:

• Greens Blend:

First, Outlive contains a green blend including 9 numerous ingredients, including:

  • Wheat Grass
  • Spirulina
  • Chlorella
  • Matcha

Ingredients like this are the base of most greens powders and are rich in vitamins and minerals like iron, Vitamin A, potassium, and calcium.

• Superfood & Antioxidant Blend:

Next, Kaged also includes 4 antioxidant ingredients, including:

  • Acai
  • Blueberry
  • Goji
  • Beet Root

Antioxidant-rich ingredients have numerous benefits for the body, mainly related to disease prevention, and recovery.

• Cleanse & Detox Blend:

Next, there’s a Cleanse and Detox Blend that includes 7 ingredients including:

  • Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Cranberry
  • Coconut Water

These ingredients have different benefits, with some being rich in polyphenols, electrolytes, and other vitamins and minerals.

• Fiber & Digestion Blend:

The final blend included in Outlive 100 is a Fiber & Digestion blend with 5 ingredients, including:

  • Gum Acacia Fiber
  • Quinoa Grain
  • Aloe Vera

While these may provide some benefit to digestion, this product does only have 1g of fiber per serving, so labeling this as a “fiber blend” is a little misleading.

• Ashwagandha:

Last but not least is Ashwagandha, which is the only active ingredient included in Outlive 100. As mentioned above, its main effect is reducing cortisol, which is related to increased testosterone levels. However, this testosterone increase is more related to fertility, and it’s unlikely this supplement will provide any major boost to performance. It’s included here at a clinically-researched dose of 300mg.

2. Size:

Kaged Outlive 100 comes in a 510g package, which works out to be 30 servings at 17g each. This is the only package size available for Outlive 100.

3. Package Type:

Outlive 100 comes in a standard plastic tub, which is the same as most protein powders, pre-workouts, and other supplements.

4. Taste/Flavor:

This supplement comes in 3 flavors:

  • Berry
  • Apple Cinnamon
  • Lemon

This is solid considering many greens powders only come unflavored. From our experience, this supplement does have fairly strong grassy and chemical flavors, although it is pretty sweet at the same time. Overall, don’t expect it to taste great, but it’s not unpalatable either.

It’s worth noting that most reviews of this product on Kaged’s website have nothing but positive things to say about its taste. While we weren’t crazy about the taste, certain people may still find it delicious.

Keep in mind this supplement also contains the sugar alcohol, erythritol, which may cause some stomach issues. It has also been linked to some more serious cardiovascular health issues as well, albeit at a much higher dose than what’s include here.

5. Mixability:

From our experience, Outlive 100 mixes well, which is also pretty uncommon with a lot of greens supplements out there.

6. Brand Awareness:

Kaged is a very well-known and trustworthy brand. As it states on the product page, this is a third-party tested supplement in case you’re concerned at all with the overall quality of the product.

7. Features:

The main feature of this product beyond its blend of 20 fruits and veggies is the inclusion of ashwagandha. This is a potentially very beneficial supplement for those looking to reduce cortisol, improve sleep quality, and boost testosterone.

How Do You Use Kaged Outlive 100?

Overall, Kaged Greens appear to be effectively dosed for most people to take a single serving mixed with 1-2 cups of water. You may want to mix it in more water if you want it to have a weaker flavor, or less water if you want to take it more like a shot, although it will probably be tough to get down. For most people, taking a single serving a day will provide a solid boost of greens into your diet.

While there shouldn’t be any major issues with this supplement, consider talking with your doctor for advice about taking a greens supplement. By getting your blood work done, you can also get a better idea of any micronutrient deficiencies you may have, which may be partially addressed by a supplement like Outlive 100.

Kaged Outlive 100 Alternatives

Below we’ll quickly be comparing the Kaged Muscle greens to other popular greens supplements, including Promix Raw Greens and Naked Nutrition’s Green Superfood Powder.

1. Kaged Outlive 100 vs Promix Raw Greens

Promix Raw Greens

Promix Raw Greens

First, Promix offers a much more stripped-back greens supplement, including only 8 key ingredients. However, it still has a similar basic formula to Kaged, including 200mg of Ashwagandha. This supplement only comes unflavored, which may not be ideal for those who don’t love the taste of greens. It’s also significantly more expensive than Kaged, costing about $2.30 per serving.

2. Kaged Outlive 100 vs Naked Green Superfood Powder

Naked Green Superfood Powder

Naked Green Superfood Powder
  • Serving Size: 1 scoop (7g)
  • Servings per Container: 35
  • Price per Serving: $0.91

Naked offers a similarly stripped back supplement with their Superfood Powder. It combines 10 ingredients, many of which are the same as those included in Outlive 100. It also has Ashwagandha, although it's unclear how much is included here. This is also an unflavored supplement, unlike Kaged. It’s the cheapest option we’ve covered at an affordable $0.91 per serving.

3. Kaged Outlive 100 vs Athletic Greens

Athletic Greens

Athletic Greens
  • Serving Size: 1 scoop (12g)
  • Servings per Container: 30
  • Price per Serving: $4.28

Athletic Greens is one of the most popular greens brands out there, containing one of the most in-depth formulas with 75 different ingredients. Like the other 2 products mentioned above, it’s completely unflavored. Additionally, it’s the most expensive product we’ve covered by far, costing about ~$4.28 per serving, which is nearly 4 times as much as Kaged Outlive!

FAQ

What is Outlive 100?

Outlive 100 is Kaged’s main superfood/greens powder. It combines over 20 fruit and veggie ingredients to provide a powerful blend for anybody looking to add some more nutrition to their diet.

Overall, while Outlive 100 is one of the better greens supplements on the market – both in terms of quality and flavor – most people eating a balanced diet rich in fruits and veggies won’t necessarily need a supplement like this.

Who Needs Outlive 100?

Outlive 100 may be beneficial for anybody who wants to get an added boost of nutrition to their diet through a blend of whole foods ingredients. With that being said, we still recommend prioritizing fruits and veggies in your diet over supplements like this.

If you’re concerned about being deficient in any micronutrients, consider getting your blood work done and getting advice from a doctor. You may ultimately be better off taking a multivitamin instead of a greens supplement. With that being said, there’s unlikely to be any real downsides to taking a greens supplement either.

Overall, it could also be beneficial for periods of intense training when you need to boost recovery, for example, when training for a competition.

Conclusion

Overall, while we don’t believe greens supplements are necessary for most people eating a diverse, healthy diet, there’s nothing wrong with taking them either if you want an extra boost to your micronutrient intake.

While there are a ton of different options out there, Kaged Outlive 100 may be one of the best options available, both in terms of flavor and formula! We hope our Kaged Muscle Outlive 100 reviews can help you make a more informed choice!
