Mitchell Hooper With a New Split Jerk Personal Best

Mitchell Hooper is one of the biggest names in the world of strongmen, and recently, he has been more than impressive with his lifts. On social media, last year’s winner of the title World’s Strongest Man has been sharing a lot of his training sessions, as well as attempts at Olympic lifts, and yesterday, we got the most impressive video so far.

In a short clip posted on his Instagram profile, the Canadian managed to break his own personal best on the split jerk exercise by lifting the incredible 215 kg. 

This is a remarkable lift from Hooper, who is overseen by another legend of the sport Martins Licis, who won the title of world’s strongest man 5 years ago now in 2019

Then he attended the TYR Wodapalooza in Miami, where he had a public personal training session for the same movement with the legendary coach Zach Telander  – there, he managed to lift 211 kg, which at the time was his personal best.
