The 2023 Rogue Invitational, a relatively new sports event, has already taken place in Texas. We now have the results that fans of the participating athletes have eagerly awaited. The strength of the participants and the excellent lineup made this new event one of the most spectacular.

This year, the top 10 strongest individuals in the world had to complete five challenging exercises. Everything was intensely competitive as every second mattered for victory.

Canadian athlete Mitchell Hooper was honored for achieving overall victory across all five events in the 2023 Rogue Invitational Strongman Leaderboard. He had to exert a lot of effort, considering the huge lineup of participants this year. For instance, Oleksii Novikov, the previous year’s Rogue Invitational champion, was present. Perhaps he aimed to defend his title, but the Canadian prevented him from doing so.

If you follow this athlete, you’d know that Mitchell Hooper’s deadlift performance is remarkable, which contributed to his impressive showing in the first exercise. He managed seven repetitions with a weight of 900 pounds (408.2 kg), securing a solid third place. In the Bull Sled Pull, the second competition, he also performed exceptionally well, earning second place.

In the third competition, Rogue-A-Coaster, Hooper’s performance dipped a bit. He secured the lowest position for himself. For this athlete, “the lowest position” meant fourth place—not in the top three, but still satisfactory.

The penultimate competition was crucial, and an excellent result was needed. Tom Stoltman delivered solid results, completing ten repetitions with a 360-pound log. Mitchell Hooper managed just one repetition less, but entered the final with a three-point advantage. While Tom Stoltman gained one more point, Mitchell Hooper emerged as the overall winner.

Mitchell Hooper has already claimed prestigious titles in strength sports. He became the winner of the highest-paying strongman competition—the Rogue Invitational Strongman 2023—earning over $145,000 for his victory. Let’s congratulate him and eagerly await his future triumphs!
