The Valor Fitness multi-grip bar is designed with multiple grip handles to give you a bigger range of exercise choices compared to a traditional barbell.

With a range of handle positions and angles, the Valor Fitness multi-grip bar allows you to work smaller muscle groups that are usually secondary movers on most traditional gym exercises. The angled handle positions also help to reduce wrist stress when lifting.

Valor Fitness Multi Grip Bar: Features & Highlights

I’ve reviewed the main features of the Valor Fitness multi-grip bar below:

    Construction Quality and Dimensions

The Valor Fitness multi-grip bar is well constructed, using 12-gauge steel that has been finished in a black powder coating. Despite being super lightweight at just 26 pounds, the bar has a good weight limit of 300 pounds. The 2" chrome-plated sleeves are secured to the frame using hex bolts that can be removed if you wish to use smaller 1" weight plates.

In terms of dimensions, the bar measures 73" meaning it can fit into most standard weight racks. The frame is 39.5", with 10" loadable sleeve lengths on either side. The handles measure 5-6" long depending on the angle chosen.

    Handle Positions

The Valor Fitness multi-grip bar offers a couple of extra traditional grip positions compared to most fixed multi-grip bars. The two traditional grip options on the outer part of the frame give you the freedom to switch between different muscle groups without having to switch to a traditional barbell.

Within the frame, the close grip handles are spaced 4.5" apart. The angled handles are a further 5" along the frame, with two more vertical handle options spaced a further 1.5" and 2.5" out toward the sleeves.

    Knurling Pattern

Valor Fitness has used a diamond knurling pattern along the full grip length for each of the handle positions. The knurling is at a standard depth meaning it provides a strong grip without ripping into the skin.

Valor Fitness states that the handles can hold chalk well if required. There is no center knurling or knurling marks present, which isn’t really a problem with 5-6" of grip length.

    Value for Money

The multi-grip bar comes at a fair price point, offering great value for money when you consider the range of exercises you can perform with it.

The construction quality is great, with the three-year warranty showing that Valor Fitness stands behind the construction quality of the multi-grip bar.
